Barry,

Thank you for your comments.

The Public Transport Users Association (PTUA) sees the South Morang rail extension as both a necessity and as severely overdue.

The South Morang rail extension was a promise that was made to the people of Whittlesea back in 1999 by the current Bracks Government.

It is abhorrent that the State Government believes it simply ignore earlier promises it has made. Please do keep up the local pressure the government must not be allowed to ignore its duties and commitments to Melbourne's outer suburbs.

Thanks,

Alex
