Maroondah HomeBiz

Maroondah HomeBiz provides information and networking opportunities for home-based businesses filling a void that is not typically catered for within the standard Chambers of Commerce. Given the feeling of isolation that can exist within a home-based environment Maroondah HomeBiz places a particular emphasis on exchanging ideas and providing peer support and in doing so succeeds in creating a friendly and informative atmosphere.

Maroondah HomeBiz meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of each month and while this generally clashes with the Public Transport Users Association (PTUA) South East Branch I was able to attend tonight’s meeting.

The August meeting for Maroondah HomeBiz included two speakers focusing on professional image and style and the importance of first impressions within business as well as strengthening sales techniques through strategy, structure and the need for action in generating sales rather than procrastination.

Maroondah HomeBiz provides a valuable resource for any home-based business whether new or well established. For more information please visit www.homebiz.org.au.
