Maroondah Business Week for 2008 will be held in October and will feature the recognition of new businesses rather than specific business awards. Given that the first few years of a business is often crucial to its success, this recognition should help assist these businesses. Benefits of the New Business program include recognition at the business breakfasts, media releases and a free ticket to the Business Week Cocktail Evening.
