		<description>Peter,

The Seniors Festival is now available as a PDF document from the Maroondah City Council website. Please visit www.maroondah.vic.gov.au so you can download the latest version of the program.

Thanks,

		<description>Peter,

Thank you for your comments, I do agree that a PDF version of the program should be made available. Council events should be distributed through a variety of mechanisms and obviously their availability electronically is one of those methods.

I will pursue this through council so that a PDF version will be available for distribution.

Thank you for raising this very valid point, I&#039;ll let you know when I hear further.

Thanks,

		<description>Alex,
You may not be aware that at the moment the segment of Australian Society with proportionally the highest rate of new take-up of internet connections is Seniors and that this is being accelerated by both the Federal and Victorian government funding programs to help provide Seniors with computer skills. This makes it very disappointing that while this press release was published here and on the council&#039;s own web site that no-one thought to make the Maroondah Seniors Week program available as a PDF file downloadable online.
