Speaking at the Probus Club of Heathmont

Probus is an organisation for retirees, which supports fellowship and activities within the community and shares a similar history to Rotary. Like Rotary, each Probus Club is largely autonomous and meets on a regular basis to keep its members informed and connected.

This morning I spoke at the Probus Club of Heathmont to discuss my upcoming year as Mayor for the City of Maroondah.

Heathmont is located in the Arrabri Ward and I mentioned that Tony Dib will be officially sworn in at the Council meeting held on the 15th of February. Tony will be joining Natalie Thomas and Paul Macdonald to represent the Arrabri Ward.

I also discussed the need for additional footpaths and the ongoing advocacy for the redevelopment of Ringwood Station so that our community is provided with an integrated, safe and accessible transport interchange.
