The Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) provides support, referral services and advice to people that require financial or legal assistance through offices located in both Ringwood and Croydon.
The Ringwood and Croydon offices are overseen by a committee of management which meets on monthly basis, I have been a committee member of the Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau since this middle of this year.
The Citizens Advice Bureau is another service provided largely by volunteers and tonight’s celebratory function provided the opportunity to thank their ongoing dedication to ensuring the continuation of such a crucial service to some of Maroondah’s most vulnerable community members.
Alex Makin is a councillor for the Mullum Ward in the City of Maroondah. Alex has been a councillor since 2005, representing ratepayers, businesses, community groups and residents.
