Maroondah HomeBiz April 2008 Meeting

Published by Alex Makin on Tuesday 1st of April, 2008

Maroondah HomeBiz is a non-profit organisation which aims to foster the development and growth of home-based businesses. The number of home and small businesses continues to increase and networks like Maroondah HomeBiz provide a supportive environment for these business owners by providing regular meetings and networking opportunities.

This evening’s meeting included a presentation from Dr. Louise Mahler from the Art of Business. Louise spoke about the importance of voice and expression during face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations with the aim of assisting participants in recognising the importance of posture and vocal tones.

Louise led an informative and entertaining session that provided useful advice for when conversing either on the telephone or in person. Maroondah HomeBiz meets on a monthly basis and has an array of interesting and entertaining speakers.
