As the City of Port Phillip’s delegate for the Metropolitan Transport Forum I attended and chaired tonight’s Annual General Meeting. I was appointed Deputy Chair of the Metropolitan Transport Forum in February so was pleased to preside tonight’s Annual General Meeting.

The Metropolitan Transport Forum provides a platform for combined advocacy on sustainable transport across local government. Tonight’s meeting provided an update on key priorities, including greater accessibility and providing genuine transport choice across Melbourne.

Historically the Metropolitan Transport Forum meeting dates clashed with City of Port Phillip Council meetings – this is now changing which will strengthen Port Phillip’s involvement.
