Following the Fisherman Bend Business Forum public event, I attended the Art Auction Night held by Artists for Kids Culture a not-for-profit charity that inspires kids to use the arts to challenge themselves, build belief in their own creativity and improve their wellbeing.

Tonight’s arts auction featured 61 artworks donated by renowned artists supporting the organisation. I was the successful bidder for Mystery Train by Marina Strochhi, a Melbourne based artist who established the Ikuntji Art Centre in the Northern Territory and developed her painting responses to the remote unique landscapes of the Central Desert.
