The Jewish Museum of Australia: Gandel Centre of Judaica located on Alma Road celebrated its 30th anniversary, expanding from a vision intro a thriving museum and cultural space.
The Museum proudly opens its doors to schools and community groups, fostering interfaith dialogue, raising awareness, and celebrating diversity, values that Council staff have had the privilege to experience firsthand.
I had the pleasure of congratulating the Jewish Museum for reaching this milestone and the stories it has been able to share as part of Port Phillip’s cultural fabric.
The event showcased stories of the original founding members and contributors who shared their journey through the Museum’s history.
Congratulations on celebrating this anniversary.
