Linden New Art is celebrating 40 years of art history and I had the pleasure of opening today’s exhibition.
The exhibition reflecting on its connections its sense of place to First Nations, the original homestead, its life as a boutique hotel and then accommodation for people at risk of homelessness before falling derelict prior to its transformation into artist exhibition and workshop space as Linden New Art in 1986.
Art fosters belonging and community with the exhibition Time Moves Through These Walls reflecting on the Linden that was, is currently and the future it can become.
