The National Theatre located on Carlisle Street in St Kilda is a performing arts venue covering live music, theatre and many other performance styles. This eveninh other performances. This evening I attended the Inaugural ROAR Fest, celebrating women in music through an all female line up.

Tonight’s performance was hosted by Ella Hooper and through five hours of phenomenal music featuring Gypsy Lee, Gabriella Cilmi, WILSIN, Tania Doko and Kate Ceberano.

ROAR Fest, which came into fruition in just 10 months was supported by the City of Port Phillip and the National Theatre. Tonight’s performance was an event not to be missed and I look forward to ROAR Fest becoming an annual fixture for live music.
