BeachPatrol 3207, is a local community group, dedicated to cleaning our beaches of litter. The group meet on a monthly basis with today’s cleanup involving students from Port Melbourne Primary School.

I joined the beach clean up crew, where alongside students and community, I helped in picking up over 18kg of rubbish. While the beach might have looked clean on the surface, it hasn’t hard to find discarded bottles, food containers and plastic.
