While operational since late last year, the official opening of the Port Melbourne Skate Park located within the Graham Street underpass was held this morning. Since its opening, further improvements have been made include fencing protecting skateboarders from passing road traffic, artwork complementing the skate park is also planned.

The official opening was an opportunity to recognise the State Government’s contribution alongside Council’s funding of this project through the 2024/2025 budget.

The opening featured skateboarders showcasing their technique and skills throughout the park.
