The Friends of Suai is a Council supported community based initiative that has helped build capacity of the Cova Lima Community Centre in East Timor over the past 25 years.

This evening the Friends of Suai launched their 25th anniversary highlighting key achievements since the Friendship was formed in 2000.

The President and Director of the Cova Lima Community Centre highlighted the skills and employment outcomes that have been achieved through the Friends of Suai. Support has enabled scholarships, programs supporting reforestation and an IT social enterprise which is creating further jobs in East Timor.
