This evening Friends of Suai formally presented the Order of Timor-Leste Medal to the City of Port Phillip

On 12 August, the President of Timor-Leste, HE José Ramos-Horta, awarded the Order of Timor-Leste Medal to 26 Australian Friendship Groups, including Friends of Suai/Covalima (FoSC)—a City of Port Phillip initiative.

The medal honors 25 years of support from the City of Port Phillip and the community in building the capacity of Timor-Leste in education, community development, renewable energy, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
