Tonight’s historical society meeting featured local historian David Radcliffe presenting his book Sandridge to Port: Goldfields to Graceville, covering his family history through two life journeys.

The book explores the life and times of Amos and Sarah, his great-great grandparents, building on a range of historical sources and family knowledge to reconstruct their lives and extended family across three continents.

I also provided an update on the restoration of the Mayor’s Office at the Port Melbourne Town Hall, where for the first time since 2018, civic functions will be returning to Port Melbourne.
