The City Nature Challenge is a friendly global competition between cities to document urban flora, fauna and fungi with participants taking photos through the INaturalist app over this weekend.

The Port Phillip EcoCentre hosted a session this afternoon at Hester Reserve in Port Melbourne to encourage participation in the City Nature Challenge. I joined the EcoCentre and participants to document some of the flora and fauna coexisting within our urban landscape.
