Alongside the Port Melbourne Community Anzac Service, community groups hold their own commemoration events for Anzac Day.

Across this weekend I was invited to two Anzac Services conducted by the Port Melbourne Colts, including their Seniors on Anzac Day and Junior on Sunday. I was invited by the Club to recite the Ode of Remembrance:

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.
